
This Saturday, the 10th of March, Ēriks Ešenvalds' "Volcano Symphony" will be performed for the first time at the Cēsis Concert Hall. Drawing inspiration from creative expeditions, the composer invites the audience to enjoy the magic of volcanoes as performed by The State Choir Latvija, the Latvian National Symphony Orchestra and soloist Dita Krenberga. Conducted by Māris Sirmais, video artist - Roberts Rubīns.

On the 27th of January, Andris Dzenītis' symphony Mīlestība ir stiprāka (Love is Stronger) premiered at Liepāja's Great Amber concert hall.
